Evaluations

Support page of the installment evaluations in the curricular units.
This information concerns only the curricular units of the courses managed by ISCTE-IUL.

Introduction

As part of the evaluation of students in the curricular units, a module of features was created in Fénix that allow managing evaluations of various types and assigning them rooms.
There are the following types of installment evaluations: Continuous Evaluation, Test, Project and Exam.

In Fénix, exams are created by the secretariats of schools. The evaluations of the types restantes (Continuous Evaluation, Test , Project), are created by the teachers of the curricular units.
All evaluations (Continuous Evaluation, Test, Project and Examination) created in a curricular unit are visible by all teachers of the curricular units on the page of each curricular unit through the Teaching portal.

In the module of installment evaluations are not created tariffs. In the module of the final evaluation of students in the curricular units, which already existed, the management of agendas continues to be done in the same way.
The grades that teachers assign to students in installment assessments are independent of each other and are also independent of the students’ final grades in the curricular units. That is, the grades of the installment evaluations do not replace or are used in the system for the calculation of the final grades of the students in the curricular units.

The allocation of rooms to the evaluations is carried out by the EDF.

Teachers can create room reservation requests for installment evaluations through the pages of the curricular units. These requests created by teachers are available for assigning rooms in the Resource Management portal with the Pending state.
