Teaching Service Management
Last Updated: 03/03/2022
The Teaching Service Management feature was created in the Teaching portal and allows you to consult and manage the states of the teaching service of the teaching units taught in a given period.
The management of the provision of the teaching service is carried out by the secretariats of the schools to which the curricular units belong.
States of teaching service
The teaching service can have the following states:
- Draft – state in which the teaching service of a shift assigned to a teacher is not available for confirmation by the teacher;
- Pending – state in which the teaching service of a shift assigned to a teacher is available for confirmation by the teacher;
- Confirmed – state in which the teaching service of a shift assigned to a teacher is confirmed by that teacher;
- Rejected – state in which the teaching service of a shift assigned to a teacher is rejected by that teacher.

Features
Several features have been created that allow teachers to manage the state of their teaching service:
- the Teaching Service Management feature allows you to manage and consult the teaching service;
- Confirm features allows you to confirm the total hours assigned in a shift;
- The Uncommit feature allows you to move the teaching service from the Confirmed state to the Pending state;
- Reject lets you reject the total hours assigned in a shift;

- the school secretariat assigns the shifts to the teachers in the UC belonging to the school:
- if you do not want to make them immediately available to teachers for confirmation, place them in the Draft state;
- if you wish to make them immediately available to teachers for confirmation, place them in the Pending state and the Fénix system will automatically send an e-mail informing each teacher that the service is for confirmation;
- the teacher Confirms or Rejects the shifts that are in the Pending state;
- the school secretariat deals with the rejected shifts, taking into account the reason for rejection indicated by the teacher, placing them again in the Pending state;
- the teacher confirms or rejects the shifts handled by the school secretariat referred to in the previous point.
