The video conferencing service allows you to hold online events with multiple participants:

• Classes, conferences, seminars, meetings, interviews, group work;
• Jury meetings (masters, doctorates, aggregations and others);
• Master’s and doctoral exams;
• Aggregation evidence.

Iscte provides video conferencing through the platforms:

Hummingbird/Zoom

Exclusive service of the RCTS Network and has as addressees the workers and students associated with institutions of the academic and scientific community.

The service provides the following set of features:

• Video conferencing with audio, video and chat;
• Screen sharing, documents, and multimedia applications;
• Possibility of connection to H.323 terminals;
• Possibility to enrich sessions with multimedia content;
• Recording of local or cloud sessions, with possibility of download;
• Multi-device (computers, tablets, smartphones, H.323 terminals);
• Multi-language (Portuguese and English);
• Exchange of messages between participants by instant messaging;
• Meetings up to 300 participants simultaneously;
• Real-time voting system.

ISCTE-IUL currently has an H.323 video conferencing room (D0.01). The room reservation must be made through the email address espacos@iscte-iul.pt.
