FileSender is a service provided by FCCN (Fundação para a Computação Científica Nacional) that allows users to securely send and share large files. Here are some key features:

    • Large File Capacity: You can send files up to 100GB.
    • Temporary Storage: Files are available for download for 30 days.
    • Multiple Recipients: You can send files to up to 100 recipients.
    • Secure Access: User authentication is done through the RCTSaai service.

This service is particularly useful for the academic and scientific community, including higher education institutions and research organizations

 

    1. Go to the service page in https://filesender.fccn.pt/ 
    2. Click “Login“.
    3. Search and choose the “Iscte“.
    4.  Authenticate using Iscte account credentials (e.g. xxnes@iscte-iul.pt and the password).

 

Uploading to Filesender is to upload a file and send a notification via email to the recipient. This notification contains a link so that the recipient can download the file.

    1. Access Filesender at https://videoconf-colibri.zoom.us/.
    2. Authenticate using your Iscte account credentials (e.g., xxnes@iscte-iul.pt and its password).
    3. Drag or select the file(s).
    4. On first use, accept the terms of use.
    5. Insert the recipient(s) e-mail address, the subject (optional) and a message (optional).
    6. Click on the “Send” button.
